The story

Nanogram is a purpose built recording studio with everything you need to realize your musical ideas.

The studio was established by Kenneth Fjellstad in 2006 and has developed ever since. It consists of a recording room, control room and relaxing area. Nanogram is the name of a very tiny metric unit and the studio got its name because of a modest physical size. The equipment is among the best, and so are the results. To achieve great results, Nanogram uses a hybrid analog/digital philosophy – digital tehcnology combined with human musicality to get a played analog feel, touch and sound.

Kenneth has played the piano since he was eight years old. He is trained in written music, classical music and several kinds of rhytmic genres. He is a skilled music programmer and has a music degree from the University of Oslo. Nowadays he is something like a musical Swiss Army Knife and works with all musical processes like composing, arranging, playing, recording, mixing and mastering. Nanogram often collaborates with other musicians and studios – both in Norway and abroad – whenever needed for the project.
